IDEA Lab is a hands-on innovation space where ideas become real-world prototypes. It empowers students and faculty to think creatively, collaborate, and build practical solutions.

Q: For whom the IDEA Lab is meant and can they be charged?

The IDEA Lab is primarily for students and faculty of the institution and can be accessed free of charge upon registration. External users such as industry, startups, alumni, and other institutions are welcome, with nominal charges to cover operational costs.

Q: Can the entire non-AICTE funding be used by the institution?

Yes. Institutions may use non-AICTE funding fully for the IDEA Lab. However, collaborating with industry is strongly encouraged to gain long-term benefits through real-world problem statements and expert engagement.

Q: Can more than one institution join?

Yes. Multiple institutions can collaborate through a single lead institution. The IDEA Lab must be housed and managed by the lead institution, while neighbouring institutions and industry may use the facility without creating liability for the host institute.
